Materialised has the facilities to custom print your designs and banners. We use a digital dye sublimation process, which is a very clean and environmentally friendly print process (the inks are all water based and the paper is recycled).
The Process
We create or take your electronic file and prepare the file for print, this includes matching your colours. Once the final design is ready, it is printed onto specially prepared paper then it is ready for the heat transfer process. The paper and the fabric that has been selected is loaded together under heat and pressure the heat transforms the ink on the paper into a gas which infiltrates the polyester fibres and the design appears on the fabric.

Transfer clients own paper
For clients that have dye sublimation paper and need it to be transferred we have that service here for you. Clients can either provide their own base fabric or select from our wide range of base cloths - which include sheers, suede’s, block-outs, upholstery and drapery fabrics.
We can print up to 2 metres wide (as long as the base cloth is that wide).
We can print up to 500 metres per hour of digital paper
Or 1000 metres per hour for rota-gravure paper.
